Hi, today is a National Holiday, in honour of Ghandi's birthday. So all the children are here and only minimum workers. Another guest arrived in the early hours from Australia and I will meet her at lunch.
The other day I said the children came in excited about having new shorts and skirts. well by their violin and viola lessons in the afternoon they were wearing them.
Here is David and Shalom playing the viola and wearing their new shorts/pants (depends where you what you call them)

And Payel and Philip with their violins.
As it is a holiday today we have spent the morning playing games, that is after the usual two hours of viola and violin first thing.
Here are some of them playing Junior scrabble, today learning the words and playing cover up the letters to win the words. Hopefully we will get to play them using words they know on the other side.
Some doing word puzzles to help with recognition and spelling of words.
And two lots of rummikub going.
The biggest thing is getting across, especially with the younger ones, the concepts of sharing, taking turns and not cheating. Noise levels are very high, voices only seem to have one volume - loud. But we will get there on these concepts.
This afternoon will be some musical games and basketball followed by more violin.
