I Have a few minutes to spare and the internet is working so a few more photos.
The first couple are from the music marathon
One of Janet's pupils playing the piano.
Myself, and Janet and Tom playing together. We had a few make shifts groups as people overlapped and enjoyed making music together. It was a successful event and raised over £1300.
These are the seven young chinese children who had a short course "violin for fun" in the summer learning a little about playing the violin. They had great fun and that also raised over £300 for the string project here in Durgapur.
This is back to the Teachers Day programme that the children did for us, the children in the audience and myself and Rita Dutta sat on the front row. The children dressed in me in my sari - one day I will learn how to do it myself.
This is the Hindi welcome and Gitar is sprinkling petals on my head.
Well time for lunch now. more to follow next week.
