Another day

Life is very busy as today visitors start arriving. All today doctors. The site has two clinics which are open three days a week when a doctor attends. It deals with those here, the children have a monthly check up and a new eye clinic is being finished which will officially be opened on 1st February.
The two clinics are the doors on the left and the big door is the new eye clinic. A lot of work has been done on this to get it completed in time with the workmen working from 7 am often until 9 at night.
Another view from out of a window. Just beyond these are the cottages that the few who workers that do live on site live.
As you can see there are quite a few trees around. They are not allowed to cut down trees to do buildings so all designed around them.

These are children lining up at 3.30 p.m. They sing a few songs, say the Lord's prayer before they go into their classrooms. So you can see it is all ages, the youngest here at the front of the picture to the older ones at the back.
Here they are in their classroom. this is where they do their homework those that have been to St Michaels school which is next door. From my window I can watch them arriving, one jeep this morning had at least 12 children pile out plus the driver with all their school bags on the roof. All sorts of vehicles, buses - of varying sizes, cars. scooters and bikes bring children to school.

The older students on their violins are working very hard. For the performance at the Cultural Programme we are going to play St Anthony Chorale by Haydn and Ode to Joy by Beethoven - this is played three versions building up the parts underneath. Each will have two parts, one open string and one that uses first finger. They can now all play the open string parts and keep it going while I play the melody over the top.

Last night as the children were playing at 5.30, it was dusk and it was the first time I saw hundreds of bats of varying sizes flying over the compound. Also lots of moths just at one end of the playground attracted to lights.
